Xin Yang

Xin Yang received her Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University in 2000. She subsequently joined the State Key Laboratory of Management and Control for Complex Systems as a postdoctoral fellow. She serves currently as a Professor at the Intelligent Medical Research Center, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She also serves as the Director of the Department of R&D of the Institute of Automation. Her research covers a range of scientific and technologic problems in molecular imaging and medical image processing. She has received a number of awards for her research and educational activities. She is one of the main recipients of the National Technological Invention Award in 2010, the National Science and Technology Award in 2003 and 2004.
