Yoshiyuki Takami graduated from School of Medicine, Kanazawa University, Kanazawa, Japan, in 1989 and received Ph.D. degrees from the Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 2000. He works since 2006 as the Vice-Chief of the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Nagoya Daini Red Cross Hospital. He is interested in cardiovascular surgery and artificial organs.
