Kazuyuki Fujii

Kazuyuki Fujii was born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1953. He received the B.S. degree, the M.S. degree, and the Ph.D. degree from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 1975, 1977, and 1985, respectively. From 1979 to 1988, he was an Assistant Professor at Kyushu University. From 1988 to 1999, he was an Associate Professor at Yokohama City University. Since 1999, he has been a Professor at Yokohama City University, Yokoyama, Japan. He is mainly interested in the mathematical aspects of quantum mechanics and quantum optics and is studying them with some collaborators in Japan. In general, he likes a Lie algebraic method in order to construct explicit or approximate solutions to certain Schrodinger equation. From the starting point, he has been an Editorial Board Member of the journal “International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics”, World Scientific, Singapore.
