Sumaira Sahreen

Sumaira Sahreen is an Associate Curator in Pakistan Museum of Natural History, Pakistan Science Foundation, Islamabad, Pakistan. She received Ph.D. degree in biochemistry and an M.Phil. degree in plant taxonomy. Her areas of expertise include biochemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, phytochemistry, clinical chemistry, and plant taxonomy. She is author and coauthor of 37 international publications having total impact factor of 57.468. She is the author of two popular articles published in science magazine. She got two Research Productivity Awards of Pakistan Council of Science and Technology for two consecutive years (2010 and 2011). Dr. Sahreen is Reviewer of many international journal including Journal of Toxicology and Industrial Health; BMC Complementary and Alternative Medicines; and Food and Chemical Toxicology. Her core expertise is in the field of biochemistry, and the area of research is botanical exploration with special reference to phytochemistry and pharmacology.
