Song Wang

Song Wang received the B.S. degree from Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering, (now Wuhan University), Wuhan, China, in 1982 and a Ph.D. degree in numerical analysis from Trinity College Dublin, Dublin, Ireland, in 1989. He has been with Tritech Ltd., The University of New South Wales, and Curtin University of Technology. He is currently a Professor at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, The University of Western Australia, Perth, WA, Australia. His research interests include numerical solution of PDEs, numerical optimization and optimal control, optimum design, and computational finance. He has authored and coauthored over 100 research papers in these areas and is on the editorial boards of several international journals.
