Yoshitane Imai

Yoshitane Imai was born in Osaka, Japan, in 1973. He received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in chemistry of organic synthesis from Osaka University, Osaka, Japan, in 1995, 1997, and 2000, respectively. Since 2000, he has joined the Kuroda Chiromorphorogy group in JST. Since then, he has been engaged in the study of the development of optically active supramolecular organic complexes. He moved to Kinki University, Osaka, Japan, as an Assistant Professor in May 2004. Dr. Imai has also been studying the development of optically active supramolecular organic fluorophores having circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) property. He is a Member of the Chemical Society of Japan, the Society of Polymer Science Japan, the Japan Oil Chemists’ Society, and the Japanese Photochemistry Association.
