Badar Sabir Ali
Badar Sabir Ali obtained a Postgraduate certificate in 2001 from the University of Surrey (UK), FCPS degree (family medicine) in 1997 from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, MCPS certificate (medicine) in 1982 from the same college, and MBBS degree (Punjab) in 1959 from the Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore, Pakistan. Since 2006, he has been serving as a Senior Lecturer (part time) at the Department of Family Medicine, the Aga Khan University, Karachi, Pakistan. He worked as an Associate Professor at the same department from 2001 to 2006 and Assistant Professor at the Department of Community Health at the same university from 1998 to 2000. His special interests include teaching communication and consultation skills and community mental health (closing the mental health gap). He is a Member of executive board of the Pakistan Association of Mental Health.
