Rebecca J. Houston

Rebecca J. Houston, holder of a Ph.D. degree, is a Senior Research Scientist at the Research Institute on Addictions, University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, NY, USA. She received her B.A. degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock and completed her doctoral training in applied biopsychology at the University of New Orleans. Dr. Houston’s research interests focus on the neurophysiological and neuropsychological substrates of impulse control and implicit processes and their role in the development and treatment of addictive behaviors as well as related behaviors such as aggression and personality disorder.
