Jan Dirk van Elsas

Jan Dirk van Elsas obtained his M.S. degree in chemical Engineering at Delft University of Technology, his Ph.D. degree in microbiology from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, and his professorship in microbial ecology from the University of Groningen. As from 2003, he holds a chair in microbial ecology.
