Junya Kuroda

Junya Kuroda, holder of M.D. and Ph.D. degrees, is a Clinical Researcher at the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine (Kyoto, Japan). His research efforts are aimed at identifying the novel therapeutic molecular targets by clarifying programmed cell death mechanisms of cancers, especially hematologic malignancies, such as leukemias, lymphomas, or myeloma. His work on programmed cell death started at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (Victoria, Australia).
