Rajesh G. Gonnade

Rajesh G. Gonnade is a native of Mundhari, Bhandara (Maharashtra State, India). He obtained his M.S. degree in physical chemistry from the Institute of Science, Nagpur, India, and received the Ph.D. degree in chemistry from University of Pune, India, in 2007. He is a recipient of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Medal for Young Scientists (2009) and the prestigious JSPS postdoctoral fellowship from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Presently, he is a Senior Scientist at the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India. His main research activities are focused on X-ray crystallography, polymorphism, pharmaceutical cocrystals, structural phase transitions, topochemical reactions, solid-state reactions, evaluation of intermolecular interactions, X-ray charge density studies, and resolution of chiral molecules by preferential enrichment method.
