Karim Chamari is a Full Professor at ISSEP Ksar-Saïd, Manouba University, Tunis, Tunisia, since January 2011. He is the Head of the Tunisian Research Laboratory "Sport Performance Optimisation," National Center of Medicine and Science in Sport, Tunis, Tunisia, since the creation of the research unit/lab, back in 2004. He is a Fitness Coach in Professional Football (Soccer), since 2002. With his team and colleagues, he has published more than 100 articles in Impact Factor Journals. His Field of expertise is Exercise Physiology and Sport Performance. His research fields include soccer physiology, exercise training, exercise testing, exercise chronobiology, the effects of Ramadan intermittent fasting on exercise physiology and performance, and training load monitoring.
