Jan Elen

Jan Elen is Ordinary Professor at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium, where he also earned his doctoral degree in educational sciences with a dissertation on the relationship between descriptions and prescriptions in instructional design. He teaches introductory and advanced courses on learning and instruction, educational technology, and instructional design. His main research interest is in theoretical developments in instructional design, the integration of ICT in regular classes and the use by learners of instructional interventions.
