Takeshi Hashishin

Takeshi Hashishin received the B.S. degree in 1996 in engineering from Ryukoku University and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in 1998 and 2000, respectively, in materials engineering from Ritsumeikan University. He emerged as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Ryukoku University at the High-Tech Research Center for one year, as a Research Associate at Nagasaki University for 3 years, as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center of Promotion for 21st COE program of Ritsumeikan University for 3 years, and as an Assistant Professor from 2007 in Ritsumeikan University. Hashishin's research interests include the growth control of oxides, nanocarbon and their composite materials, by means of chemical vapor deposition, electrochemical and hydrothermal synthesizes, for the functionalization of electrical devices such as electroceramics, gas sensors, and photocatalysts.
