Francisco Falcone holds an Ingeniero en Telecomunicación degree (1999) as well as a Ph.D. degree (2005), both by the Universidad Pública de Navarra. Curently, he is the President of the Asociación Navarra de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación and the Delegate Dean in Navarra of the Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación. Since February 1999 until April 2000, he worked as a Microwave Transmission Engineer, at Siemens-Italtel, in the deployment of the Amena radio access network. In 2000, he works as a Radio Network Engineer in Telefónica Móviles. In 2003, he was an Assistant Professor at UPNA. Falcone has been awarded with the COIT best Ph.D. Thesis Award in Basic Applications in 2005. His research interests span from artificial electromagnetic structures to the design and analysis of wireless communication systems.
