Shangping Ren

Shangping Ren received the Doctoral degree in computer science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, Ill, USA, in 1997. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, Ill, USA. Her research interests include coordination models, distributed real-time systems, and programming languages. Ren is a Member of the IEEE.
