Ivo A. Hümmelgen

Ivo A. Hümmelgen was born in São Bento do Sul, Brazil, in 1963. He received the B.S. degree in physics (Federal University of Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil) in 1985. the M.S. degree in applied physics (University of São Paulo, São Carlos, Brazil) in 1987, and the Ph.D. degree in physics (University of Göttingen, Germany) in 1991. Presently, he is Physics Professor at Department of Physics, Federal University of Paraná, Curitiba, Brazil. His main research interests are organic electronic and optoelectronic devices (transistors, memories, photovoltaics, sensors, and magnetoresistive devices). He is Topical Editor for Semiconductors and Photoelectrochemistry of Journal of Solid State Electrochemistry (Springer Verlag) and Member of the Physics Advisory Board of the Brazilian Research Council, CNPq.
