Tadayuki Oshima

Tadayuki Oshima has been serving as an Associate Professor at the Division of Upper Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine, Hyogo College of Medicine since 2007. He graduated from Nagoya City University Medical School in 1994. After the residency in First Department of Internal Medicine, Nagoya City University Hospital, he started to major Gastroenterology. He served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Louisiana State University Health Science Center, Shreveport, USA (Dr. Steven J. Alexander Laboratory) from 1998 to 2000. He received a Ph.D. degree from Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Science in 2000. He served as a Clinical Research Fellow at Nagoya City University Graduate School of Medical Sciences from 2000 to 2006. He became an Assistant Professor at the Division of Upper Gastroenterology, Department of Internal Medicine, Hyogo College of Medicine in 2006. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, and book chapters. His research interests are among endoscopic diagnosis and treatment of GI cancers; tight junction proteins related to inflammatory GI disorders including esophagitis, gastritis, dyspepsia, and inflammatory bowel diseases
