Humberto R. Gamba is a Lecturer in the
Department of Electronics at Federal University
of Technology Paraná (UTFPR) in
Curitiba, Brazil. He received his B.S. degree
in electrical engineering from UTFPR,
a Master's degree in electrical engineering
from Campinas State University (Campinas,
Brazil) and a Ph.D. degree in medical
physics from University of London. His
current research interests include contentbased
image retrieval, fMRI, image processing, and electronics instrumentation.
