Christophe Casteleyn obtained the D.V.M. degree in 2005 at the Ghent University, Gent, Belgium, with great distinction. In 2008, he finished the M.S. degree in laboratory animal science with the greatest distinction. In 2010, Christophe obtained the Ph.D. degree in veterinary sciences at the Ghent University, Belgium, by successfully defending his dissertation. On October 1, 2011, Casteleyn joined the Research Group of Applied Veterinary Morphology at the University of Antwerp, Antwerpen, Belgium, as an Assistant Professor. He has teaching experience within the domain of gross veterinary anatomy, histology, pathology, and immunology. His current research deals with the immunological effects of different feeds and feed additives on the porcine gut-associated lymphoid tissue. In addition, as an anatomopathologist, Casteleyn is involved in many collaborations.
