Marcio Barros

Marcio Barros graduated in medicine from the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (1990), obtained the M.S. degree in medicine (tropical medicine) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2001), and obtained the Ph.D. degree in medicine (tropical medicine) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2003). He is currently a Professor of cardiovascular disease of the Faculty of Health and Human Ecology (FASEH), a Coordinator of the Service of Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound of the Mater Dei Hospital, an Echocardiographist of the Hospital das Clínicas, Federal University of Minas Gerais, and an Echocardiographist of Clinic CEU. He has experience in medicine with emphasis on cardiology, echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound.
