Mathieu Vrac

Mathieu Vrac obtained a Ph.D. degree in applied mathematics obtained through a collaboration between the Paris Dauphine University and the École Polytechnique. He serves now as a Permanent Research Scientist at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE-IPSL) of the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) in France. His researches are mostly related to statistical climatology through statistical modeling of (spatial and/or temporal) variability (e.g., pdfs, uncertainties, extreme values, and downscaling) of various climate and environmental processes and variables.
