Wei Hsien Hong

Wei-Hsien Hong is an Associate Professor at Department of Sport Medicine of China Medical University in Taiwan. He received his M.S. degree in biomedical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan City, Taiwan, in 1994. He was ever served as an Associate Researcher at Rehabilitation Science and Engineering Center of Chang Gung Memorial Hospital (from 1996–2005) and dedicated to the research of both clinical biomechanics and motor control with electromyography. In 2005, he received his Ph.D. degree from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei City, Taiwan, in ergonomics and biomechanics. He also presently served as a Research Consultant at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital. In addition, he was also a Member of the Taiwanese Society of Biomechanics and an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Physical Activity and Exercise Science. Currently, his research interests are mainly focuses on sports biomechanics and motor control which related to musculoskeletal disorders.
