Amaka C. Offiah

Amaka C. Offiah earned a B.S. degree, an MBBS degree, an MRCP degree, an FRCR degree, and a Ph.D. degree. Currently, she serves as an HEFCE-funded Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield, Sheffield, England, and as an Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Sheffield Children's Hospital, UK. Her area of expertise is the pediatric musculoskeletal system, particularly constitutional bone disorders and child abuse. She is also a Panel Member of the European Skeletal Dysplasia Network (ESDN). Dr. Offiah is currently collaborating on the development of a dynamic web-based version of the Radiological Electronic Atlas of Malformation Syndromes: d-REAMS. She was recently nominated as a Chairperson of the Skeletal Dysplasia Group for Teaching and Research and is a Member of the ESPR Child Abuse Taskforce. She is the RCR 2013 Roentgen Professor, being the first female to hold this post.
