Zhenhua Guo

Zhenhua Guo was born in 1970 in China. He is a Professor of mathematics at the Institute Center for Nonlinear Studies and the Department of Mathematics, Northwest University, China. Guo received the Ph.D. degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2003, with a thesis titled "Self-similar solutions and large time behavior of solutions to the compressible Navier-Stokes equations." Guo received the B.S. and M.S. degree in mathematics from Central China Normal University, China, in 1994 and 1997, respectively. He received the Shaanxi University of Science and Technology Prize in 2012. His main research interests include nonlinear PDEs and fluid mechanics. He has received three Grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (nos. 11071195 (2011–2013), 10771170 (2008–2010), and 10401012 (2007–2007)), and he had a project sponsored by SRF for ROCS, SEM.
