Liqiang Xu

Liqiang Xu was born in Jimo, Qingdao, Shandong Province, in 1977. He received the B.S. degree (2000) in chemistry from Liaocheng University and the Ph.D. degree (2005) in chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China, then he worked at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the Shandong University. Presently, he serves as a Professor. His current research interests are focused on the synthesis, functionalization, structure and property investigation, and applications (in catalysis, rechargeable lithium batteries, etc.) of nanomaterials (mainly inorganic materials that contain boron, carbon, nitrogen or/and oxide atoms such as boron nitride, graphite, borides, silicon carbides, and silicon nitrides).
