Luca Sebastiani received his M.S. degree in agricultural sciences from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 1991, and his Ph.D. degree in plant biology, agriculture, and environment from Sant'Anna University, Pisa, Italy, in 1996. Currently, he works as an Associate Professor of science and technology of tree and forestry systems, Sant'Anna University, Pisa, Italy. His research interests include plant biotechnology, plant biochemistry, plant ecology, plant physiology, plant water relations, secondary metabolites, agroforestry, crop science, biodiversity characterization, food quality, and agricultural sciences.
