Ligang Wu was born in Jiangxi, China, in 1977. He received the B.E. degree in automation from Harbin University of Science and Technology, Harbin, China, in 2001, and the M.S. degree and the Ph.D. degree in control science and control engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, in 2003 and 2006, respectively. From January 2006 to April 2007, he worked as a Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. Moreover, from September 2007 to June 2008, he served as a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Mathematics, City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong. In March 2008, he joined Harbin Institute of Technology, where he works currently as an Associate Professor. Wu was selected as a Member of the New Century Excellent Talents in University of the Chinese Ministry of Education. He is an Associate Editor of circuits, systems, and signal processing. His current research interests include robust control/filter theory, time-delay systems, multidimensional systems, and model reduction.
