Silvana I. Torri

Silvana Irene Torri is a Research Scientist and Professor of the Department of Agriculture Engineering and Land Use in the School of Agronomy at University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). Dr. Torri is currently doing researches on the effect of land application of organic wastes (manure, biosolids) on soil chemical parameters, dynamics of potentially toxic elements in soils, trace elements stabilization, phytoremediation of inorganic, or organic polluted soils, using exotic and native species. She has published 15 papers in specialized journals, wrote ten book chapters, and is regularly invited to review articles submitted to scientific international journals.
