Antoine Al-Achi is Associate Professor of pharmaceutical sciences at Campbell University School of Pharmacy, Buies Creek, NC, USA. In this role, he teaches pharmaceutics, biostatistics, and botanical medicine in the B.S. pharmaceutical sciences major, Pharm.D. program, and the M.S. (pharmaceutical sciences) major. He is a pharmacy school graduate (B.S. degree in pharmacy). Al-Achi earned his Ph.D. degree in biomedical sciences/pharmaceutics/pharmacokinetics from Northeastern University, Boston, Mass, USA. He completed his postdoctoral studies in cancer pharmacology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School. In addition to earning a Ph.D. degree, Al-Achi received a Master of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, Boston, Mass, USA and a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University. He has published several research papers concerning experimental treatments for solid tumors. Al-Achi has published more than 100 scientific papers, reviews, book chapters, and abstracts. His book chapters are focused on physical pharmacy applications. His research area of interest is in drug delivery systems for peptides and proteins. Another area of Dr. Al-Achi’s interest is in botanical medicine. He has published several review papers on botanicals in professional journals.
