M. Julius Hossain

M. Julius Hossain received his Ph.D. degree in computer engineering from the Kyung Hee University, Seoul, South Korea in February, 2008. He received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2000 and 2002, respectively. Since 2003, he has been working as a Faculty Member at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Currently, he is on leave from his position as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Dhaka. Hossain worked at the College of Electronics and Information, Kyung Hee University as a Research Faculty. Currently, he is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Image Processing and Analysis, Dublin City University, Ireland. His research interests include detection and tracking of cells from time-lapse microscopy images, automated video surveillance, and medical image processing.
