Qing-Wen Wang achieved his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China. Since January 2004, he has been a Full Professor and the Head of the Department of Mathematics at Shanghai University. Wang was also a Visiting Professor at Nanyang Technological University (2009–2011), Delft Technological University (2007), and National University of Singapore (2006). His fields of interest include matrix theory, linear algebra, operator algebra, numerical linear algebra, and information processing. Wang was granted “The Teacher Star of Shanghai University” by Shanghai University in 2011 and “The Excellent Teacher Award of Baogang” by Baogang in 2010.
