Qing-Wen Wang received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Science and Technology of China. Since January 2004, he has worked as a Full Professor as well as the Head of the Department of Mathematics, Shanghai University, Shanghai, China. Wang was also a Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore, Singapore, in 2006, the Delft University of Technology, Delft, The Netherlands, in 2007, and the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, from 2009 to 2010 and from 2011 to 2012. His fields of interest include matrix theory, linear algebra, operator algebra, numerical linear algebra, and information processing. Wang was granted the Excellent Teacher Award of Baogang by Baogang, in 2010, the Teacher Star of Shanghai University by Shanghai University, in 2011, and The Shanghai Leading Talent by Shanghai Government, in 2012.
