Rob Stephenson serves as an Associate Professor of global health at the Hubert Department of Global Health, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. His research focuses on sexual health, specifically on sexual risk taking, sexual health outcomes, and sexuality. His current research examines the intersections between violence and sexual health, diverse methods for delivering HIV testing to most at risk populations (for example, men who have sex with men), couples-based HIV testing, and on understanding social, structural, and cultural stressors that shape HIV risk. Stephenson also works on the integration of HIV testing and treatment with other services, including violence screening and chronic disease management, and he is particularly interested in the risk factors and management of HIV among migrant populations.
