Victor Bovdi

Victor Bovdi studied at Uzhhorod National University, USSR, from 1982 to 1989, and was a postgraduate student at the same university from 1990 till 1992. In 1992, he received his Ph.D. degree (C.S. degree) in mathematics from Kiev University, USSR, with a thesis entitled "On the group of units of twisted group rings," under the supervision of Dr. Petr Gudivok. Dr. Bovdi is an Editor of Acta Mathematica Academiae Paedagogicae Nyí regyháziensis. Moreover, he was a Visiting Professor at IME, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil (1998-1999) and a Full Professor at Department of Mathematics and Informatics, Bessenyei College, Nyíregyháza, Hungary (1994–2010). Dr. Bovdi also worked as an Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics, Uzhgorod University, USSR (1992); an Associate Professor at Department of Mathematics, Bessenyei College, Nyíregyháza, Hungary (1992–1994); an Assistant Professor at Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary (1994–1997). He has been an Associate Professor at Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Debrecen, Debrecen, Hungary, since 1997.
