David Monzon-Hernandez

David Monzon-Hernandez received the Engineering degree in communications and electronics, in 1993, from the University of Guanajuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, and the M.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in optics from the Centro de Investigaciones en Optica, Leon, Mexico, in 1995 and 1999, respectively. In 2000, he joined the Applied Physics Department, University of Valencia, Valencia, Spain, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Since 2002, he has been serving as a Research Scientist at the Fiber Optics Group of the Photonics Division at the Centro de Investigaciones en Optica. His main research interests are the fabrication of sensors and devices based on optical micro-nanofibers and photonic crystal.
