Maximino Redondo has received his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees in biochemistry from the University of Granada, Spain, and completed his residency training in clinical biochemistry in Virgen de las Nieves University Hospital, Granada. He serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology University of Malaga (Spain). He also obtained the following accreditations: European Clinical Chemist (European Communities Confederation of Clinical Chemistry), Accreditation in Human Genetic (Spanish Association of Human Genetic), and University Expert in Epidemiology and Clinical Research(University of Granada). He works as the Director of Hospital Tumor Registry (Marbella, Spain) and as a Member of the European Association of Cancer Research. He has served as the Principal Investigator on 15 grants, and he authored 65 articles, 10 books, and 130 papers presented at national and international scientific meetings. He served as a Journal Referee for British Journal of Cancer, European Journal of Surgical Oncology, Neoplasia, Tumor Biology, Journal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Investigational New Drugs, Current Medical Chemistry, Supportive Care in Cancer, Patient Preference and Adherence, and e-Books from Bentham Science. He was honored as a Visiting Professor at the Department of Pathology, University of Miami (USA), and he has received 12 Awards from different scientific associations.
