Funazaki Ken-ichi

Funazaki Ken-ichi serves as a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Iwate University, Japan. His specialty is experimental and numerical fluids dynamics, especially in turbomachines. He also has an expertise in heat transfer related to gas turbine cooling technology. He is now a Member of Heat Transfer and Turbomachinery Committee of IGTI. He graduated from Tohoku University in 1985, receiving Ph.D. degree there. Before being involved in Iwate University in 1989, Ken-ichi worked at IHI, a Japanese aeroengine company for 4 years. He has more than 100 peer-reviewed papers.
