Li-Ning Sun

Shanghai University, China

Li-Ning Sun obtained her Ph.D. degree in the end of 2007 in Chemistry from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, under the direction of Prof. Hongjie Zhang. In the period of 2008-2009, she was an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow in the group of Prof. Otto S. Wolfbeis in University of Regensburg, and the postdoctoral research focused on optical sensors based on the upconversion luminescent nanomaterials and lanthanide complex probes. From 2009 until now, she is an associate professor in Research Center of Nano Science and Technology at Shanghai University. Her current research interests are optical pH sensors, optical temperature sensors, lanthanide complexes, and lanthanide organic-inorganic luminescent hybrid materials.
