Rong Fong Fung

Rong Fong Fung received the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the National Taiwan University, Taiwan, in 1993. He worked as a Lecturer, Associate Professor and as a Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Chung Yuan University, from 1985 to 2000. He served as a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Electrical Engineering of The Ohio State University in 1997. He works currently as a Professor of Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, and Graduate Institute of Electroptical Engineering in the National Kaohsiung First University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. His research interests include dynamic modeling, optimal design, vibration control, system identification and smart nanopositioning control, optomechatronic engineering, and atomic force microscopy.
