Kenichi Meguro graduated from Tohoku University School of Medicine, in 1985 and was awarded the M.D. degree and in 1985 graduated from Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine and was awarded the Ph.D. degree. Since 2005 Meguro has been a Professor at the Department of Geriatric Behavioral Neurology, Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine, Sendai, Japan, and since 2006 the Head of Office against Dementia at The Osaki-Tajiri SKIP Center, Osaki, Japan. He is a Councilor of the Japanese Society of Cognitive Neuroscience; Councilor of the Japan Society for Higher Brain Dysfunction; Councilor of the Neuropsychology Association of Japan; Councilor of the Japan Psychogeriatric Association; Councilor of the Japan Society for Dementia Research; Committee of Asian Society Against Dementia (ASAD).
