Bing Tan


Bing Tan received his Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from the University of Kentucky, Ky, USA under the supervision of Professor Stephen Rankin in 2005. He did his postdoctoral research with Professors Yiying Wu and Umit Ozkan at The Ohio State University, Ohio, USA. He then worked at Battelle Memorials Institute, Ohio, USA before he moved to IMRA America, Mich, USA in 2010. His research included inorganic materials synthesis, characterizations, and applications. Particularly, he has experiences in nanoporous materials synthesis and characterizations, nanoparticles synthesis and characterizations, dye-sensitized solar cells, quantum dot solar cells, heterogeneous catalysts, lithium ion batteries, batteries, supercapacitors, and conductive inks.
