Ingrid Milošev graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Technology, University of Zagreb, Croatia, in 1986. She received her M.S. degree in 1991, and her Ph.D. degree in 1993 from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Between 1994 and 1995, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and the University of Düsseldrof, Germany. She has been employed at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana since 1987. Since 2005, she has been the Head of the Department of Physical and Organic Chemistry. Since 2001, she has been employed at the Valdoltra Orthopaedic Hospital as the Assistant General Manager for research and education. She published 113 scientific papers in the journals, presented 83 scientific papers at international and at national symposiums, delivered 15 invited lectures, 1 scientific monograph, and 2 chapters in scientific books published by international publishing houses. She was cited more than 1200 times (h index 21). Miloš ev is the Reviewer for several leading international journals. She is a Member of professional associations: The International Society of Electrochemistry; Electrochemical Society; Orthopaedic Research Society. Her scientific interests are directed to electrochemical processes of corrosion and passivation at micro- and nanostructured metals and alloys for technological and biomedical materials and the procedures and processes aimed to prolong their life time and functional abilities.
