Kwang Joong Kim
Kwang Joong Kim received a Ph.D. degree from Seoul National University, Republic of Korea, in February 1987. Kim held many positions such as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Chief of Professor at the Department of Dermatology, College of Medicine, Hallym University. Since 1996, he has been working as a Professor at the Department of Dermatology, College of Medicine, Hallym University. He has been a Member of the Korean Dermatological Association and the American Academy of Dermatology since 1981 and 1998, respectively. From 2003 to 2005, he served as the President of Korean Society for Acne. Since 2009, he has been serving as the Director of Korean Dermatological Association. His research interests include psoriasis (topical management and pathogenesis) and acne pathogenesis and management.
