Ayhan Ozcan
Ayhan Ozcan, M.D., graduated from School of Medicine, Gülhane Military Medical Academy, Ankara, Turkey, in 1991. His pathology residency was in between 1994 and 1997 at the Department of Pathology, Gülhane Military Medical Academy. He continued as a pathologist until 2001 in the same department. Then, he worked as an Assistant Professor until 2006, then as an Associate Professor since 2006. He has seen routine surgical pathology cases and cytological samples. He is primarily responsible for renal (including medical and nonmedical kidney) pathology and electron microscopy since 2006. In addition, he is secondarily interested in fetal and placental pathology, genitourinary pathology, and bone and soft-tissue tumors for several years. He worked as an Observer in the Renal Pathology Division, Department of Pathology, Methodist Hospital, USA, between September 2005 and September 2006. He is a Member of the Turkish Electron Microscopy Society, Ankara Pathology Society, and the Turkish Cytopathology Society.
