Jin-Lan Zhang received the B.S. degree in pharmacy, College of Pharmacy, Beijing University, Beijing, China, and the M.S. degree in pharmaceutical analysis, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Science, Beijing, China. Zhang’s research interests include metabolism of new drugs and nature products by hybrid tandem mass spectrometry techniques, developing new analytical techniques to characterize and identify active components of TCM, developing new analytical techniques to detect drug in biological samples, and pharmacokinetic study of new drugs and leader compounds. Zhang was an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, the Institute of Materia Medica, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College (PUMC), a Postdoc at the College of Pharmacy, Beijing University, and is currently an Associate Professor and Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, the Institute of Materia Medica, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Peking Union Medical College (PUMC), Beijing, China.
