Dr. Bart M. Demaerschalk is currently Professor of Neurology at the College of Medicine Mayo Clinic, Consultant of the division of Neurology, Cerebrovascular diseases and Critical care at the Mayo Clinic Hospital Scottsdale Arizona. He performed his undergraduate studies at the University of British Columbia (cell and developmental biology) followed by his MD training. He performed his Neurology Residency at the University of Western Ontario in London, followed by his fellowship in Stroke along with it, he underwent his MSc in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics in McMaster University and Health Professional education at the University of Toronto. He has multiple book chapters and peer reviewed papers in international journals in the area of stroke and telemedicine. And he is actively participating in international trials.
