Victor Ng-Thow-Hing received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science in 1994 and 2001, respectively, from the University of Toronto, Toronto, ON, Canada, where he was a Member of the Dynamics Graphics Project Lab. Ng-Thow-Hing is currently a Principal Scientist at the Honda Research Institute in Mountain View, Calif, USA. Previous projects include work in 3D muscle modeling, digital human modeling, and computational paleontology. His current projects focus on humanoid robot gesture generation, contextual situation awareness, affective computing, human-robot interaction, and automobile human-machine interaction.
