Xiaosong Wang

Xiaosong Wang graduated from the East China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai, China in 1998 with a Ph.D. degree in polymer science. After working at the University of Sussex, U.K., and the University of Toronto, Canada, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, he took a RCUK Research Fellowship at the University of Leeds, U.K. in 2006 and received the Roberts Academic Award. His current research activities lie in the following discrete but related areas: well-defined (organometallic) polymers, supramolecular chemistry, and functional nanomaterials. Wang has developed a number of new concepts for controlled synthesis of organometallic nanomaterial and published a series of papers in international leading journals including Science, Journal of the American Chemical Society, Angewandte Chemie International Edition Commun, Advanced Materials, Biomaterials, and Macromolecules.
