Jyh Ming Wu
Jyh Ming Wu is an Associate Professor of materials science and engineering at Feng Chia University, Taiwan. Dr. Wu earned his B.S.M.E. in mechanical engineering from Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei City, Taiwan, his M.D. degree and Ph.D. degree from Materials Science and Engineering Department at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He was awarded the 2011 Ta-You Wu Memorial Award by the National Science Council because of his outstanding contribution in nanoscience and nanotechnology. From July 2011 to July 2012, he has served as a Visiting Professor in the Nanoscience Group at the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Dr. Wu has made contributions to the synthesis, characterization, and understanding of fundamental materials properties of oxide nanostructures, as well as applications of nanostructures in energy sciences and optoelectronics. Dr. Wu?s academic interests are in the areas of the optoelectronic nanodevices, nanosensors, piezoelectric materials, and energy usage materials, which have potential applications in human-electronics interface, nanogenerator, sensors, and photovoltaic cell. He has published over 40 peer-reviewed articles in SCI journal. His entire publications have been cited for over 500 times.
