Christophe Coquelet completed his studies at ENSIACET (1998) and ENS Cachan (1999). He received his Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Professor Dominique Richon at Mines ParisTech, Paris, France (2003). After that, he has started working in the CEP/TEP laboratory as a research engineer. In 2007, he was nominated as a Deputy Director of the laboratory and the Director in 2009. He has led many projects with several companies like Air Liquide, TOTAL, Arkema, Rhodia, Gas Processors Association, IFP Energies Nouvelles, EDF, ANR, and Perstorp. In 2008, he obtained his qualification (HDR) to be Ph.D. director (French Diploma). In 2010, he was nominated as an Honorary Professor at the University of Kwazulu Natal in Durban. Moreover, he is the (co)author of more than 60 publications. His research area concerns thermodynamic and phase diagram determination. He participated in the development of experimental methods, measurement of experimental data, and their treatment using thermodynamic models. His activities concern fluorinated component (refrigerant or solvent), natural gas and petroleum, CO2 capture and sequestration, cryogeny, supercritical fluids, green chemistry, and supercritical fluids.
